Table Rules & Poker Etiquette
- Clearly Visible Hand: Cards must remain on table when not viewing; no hiding.
- Chip Stacking: Stack neatly (<20 chips high), denominations visible; no confusing spills.
- Looking at Folded Hands: Forbidden to peek or grab mucked cards.
- Going South: Removing chips from table to reduce stack not allowed; keep all chips on table.
- String Bets: Single motion bets only; no splitting bet into multiple motions.
- Acting in Turn: Wait until your turn to act; acting out of turn is binding if changes nothing.
- Protecting Your Hand: Use a chip/card protector; exposed or mixed cards are dead.
- Handling Chips Properly: No splashing pot; place chips clearly in front.
- Talking About Hand: Players not in hand must not discuss it with active players.
- Slow Rolling: Revealing winning hand slowly is bad etiquette.
- Abysmal Winning & Sore Losing: No excessive gloating or pouting.
- Verbal Declarations: Spoken calls/raises are binding.
- Leaving the Table: Inform table before stepping away; avoid leaving during a hand.
- Avoid Side Conversations: Players not in hand should stay quiet during others’ action during a high stakes hand.
